We are extremely proud to be a Pivot Point member school. Internationally known and respected, Pivot Point brings together some of the most creative and forward thinking minds in the industry. The training our Instructional staff receives and the tools Pivot Point offers, such as their exclusive member schools only Designers' Approach Library, ensure that you receive educational excellence. The methods are easily understood and learned and are the foundation upon which you will build your techniques. These exclusive methods are based on the philosophies of The Bauhaus, the most celebrated art school of modern times. Through these same philosophies, our students learn to be more than hair stylists — they learn to become hair designers, offering you a career where you enjoy both creativity and freedom.
The college operates Tuesday through Saturday. The 1600 hours of training, required by the state, take approximately 1 year. These hours are well designed at Lytle's Redwood Empire Beauty College, combining a comprehensive primary training program in a high-energy atmosphere, weekly Senior theory classes and our unique, highly interactive Zones, in which students enjoy specialized training, and smaller classes.
Additionally, you'll spend plenty of time in our busy Salon, where you'll gain the hands-on experience that ensures confidence. Using professional products only, such as the Goldwell color line, K-Pak reconditioners, Aquage, Enjoy, Redken, KMS products, OPI nail supplies, and seasonal styling products, our students gain the knowledge and skill needed for success. We'll also train you to achieve superior customer service skills to help build and keep a busy clientele.
You'll experience guest educators, have the opportunity to attend field trips to such destinations as MAC in San Francisco, 'professionals only' beauty supply houses, and trade shows where platform artists dazzle with innovative trends and the showroom floor sparkles with exciting and exceptional deals.
